Originally formed as Hampshire Demolition & Recycling Ltd in 2014 to satisfy the requirements of one client on one contract, the company grew rapidly to outstrip the confines that the name suggests, both in terms of activities and geography.
The parent company HDR Group was created 2 years later and is now at the head of a diverse, multi-disciplined group involved in all aspects of site enabling works and more:
- Ground Investigation
- Façade retention
- On-site crushing, processing & recycling
- Asbestos treatment & removal
- Contaminated waste treatment & removal
- Land remediation
Our evolving management team have many years of experience in all these disciplines across a diverse range of business sectors, giving us great strength in depth.
The location of our Head Office at Stratford-upon-Avon was chosen to be a central point and as our reputation and client base has grown our footprint has become national. Indeed, being flexible to the requirements of our clients we have carried out demolition contracts in the Netherlands and are pricing work in Northern Scotland.

When I originally formed Hampshire Demolition, it was based on having some very good working relationships with a few key clients. As we have grown and our activities have become more diverse, that basic formula really hasn’t change at all.
